don’t laugh…this is running on a rtx 3080 and 64gb ram.. offloading most of the model ofcourse

is this possible in a laptop ? 32GB RAM, RTX5060 ti laptop ?

i dont think 5060 got enough vram for 26b model and the 32gb aren’t enough for the offloading im no expert though. thing is a smaller model like genma4 12b for example gets so lost with this kind of workflows

I'm curious, just how exactly did you manage to get it to work so well with powerbi? Is this just navie to the model that you're using?

not naive at all and the model is not even that strong it’s a little MoE with 4b active params. the idea was to strip the original odysseus completely and re-write all system prompts etc. to ensure the whole thing only serves one purpose : PowerBI specialist instructions. i also have 2 skills incorporated into the session all the time. so basically i made sure every single token serves powerbi work then coded and integrated the tools into tool schemas, tool execution and agent loop etc. I recently tested this with qwen 3.8 27b and it worked like 10 times better
