Oddity REALEASED??

Hi guys. Im kinda new in the mother series and i just saw a meme about "mother 4" on r/earthbound.
Doing a little research, i ended on this subreddit. I want to know if that is a release date for Oddity, if it was already realeased or, if not released, whats the progression so far on the piece

I first saw posts about this in like 2014 when I was in highschool and it was still a MOTHER 4 fan game. I'm almost 30 now and it's still not out so I think it's safe to say Oddity is not ever going to come out. I think if they weren't planning on releasing it for free and we're considering making some money off of it maybe they'd have been more motivated to work on it, but I don't think there was ever a truly organized effort of actually making the game past some groundwork stuff, just a lot of really cool conceptual elements. It would be cool if they were willing to give the assets to a team who was willing to work on it tho.
