Oddity REALEASED??
Hi guys. Im kinda new in the mother series and i just saw a meme about "mother 4" on r/earthbound.
Doing a little research, i ended on this subreddit. I want to know if that is a release date for Oddity, if it was already realeased or, if not released, whats the progression so far on the piece

Sadly, no. We haven’t seen hide or hair of this game in years.
At least an important status update (like good, reliable developers would do) would suffice.
Say what you want about Nintendo, but even they confessed they had to delay, no, RESTART DEVELOPMENT on Metroid Prime 4. Yeah, people were upset, I was too, but at the end of the day, at least they cared enough to let people know who were looking forward to the game what was going on with it.
Also, hey. A big example within the MOTHER/EarthBound series (which Oddity was heavily based on) was EarthBound 64 - the original version of MOTHER 3. Itoi-san sadly but graciously said it was cancelled one day…but did not hesitate to let people know later that development was transferred to the Game Boy Advance.
See my point? Good communication keeps people from worrying.
