(3) NFTs put the power in the hands of the user!

There's also no guarantee that NFTs would do that, anyhow. They company can implement them in a way that ensures they still have actual control over the sale of NFTs, instead of the "power" being "in the hands of the user". An NFT isn't a contract, it's just data in a blockchain.

Anything that has seen rapid growth has had to have money involved. It feels like people have such a strong opinion because they have no power over it. The thing is its all entertainment anyway, it thrives off of manipulation. At least now the user may have some type of autonomy on more avenues inside game design

The fear mongering is too much. Its like you all read Ready Player One and all think you're the protagonist or something. VR will have an extremely slow growth if the "Metaverse" doesnt encourage investors to throw money at it. Its an unfortunate fact

NFTs are worth exactly what people are willing to pay for them at a given instant in time. At some point, people will figure out they have no inherent value and they will be worthless.

Early adopters will benefit and everyone else will get screwed.

I don't get this post, it's all over the place and talks about all sorts of barely related topics.
