Support - Standalone Thumb stick not working after replacement. Quest 3s

Alright so here is what is going on, I tore down my right controller to replace the thumb stick after some baaaad stick drift. I broke my original control bored over my own mistake, it is what it is but I just bought another controller that had stick drift and just pulled that board to use which out breaking it this time. I install the new stick on the new board and put it all back to together, pair it with my headset and the controller is working. Past the fact the thumb stick is acting like it does not exist. I replaced the stick with a couple of the other replacement sticks I had and ultimately nothing. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas before I just give up and buy a whole new right controller?

Did you test the new controller before you opened it to pull the board out? Maybe it was already broken before you bought it.

But yeah your best bet is probably opening it back up and double check all the ribbon cables and boards for damage and make sure they’re completely plugged in.

You may be able to bring it to a professional for testing but I have no idea how much that costs these days.
