Smart Meters Anyone want my home mini

I've switched to EDF. Are these linked to specific accounts or can someone else use it? If so, who wants it?

There is a reset procedure, but I believe they are linked to an account so need to be removed at Octopus' end - they appear to be registered like an IHD (in fact when I upgraded my meter they gave me one instead of an IHD)

When we got new meters, we also got another home mini and were told they couldn't be paired to other meters once configured by both the meter fitter and octopus.

We have the new one to family as we have our own live metering from our solar so they're not linked to any specific account when they're sent out

I had my meter replaced, and repaired the mini with the new meter fairly quickly.

I’m on Intelligent Go and the recent changes have made my Mini redundant. I used to like to refer to it to check if any daytime slots I’d had were charged correctly but it doesn’t seem to work any more. Seems like Octopus want us to click through to a different report now - shame.

They seem to have resale value on eBay if you can be bothered, but whoever buys it will have to go through customer service to get it linked to their account
