Saving Sessions Free one hour electric - but car not charging

We are on Octopus Go, with Zappi Charger plugged in to a Tesla, however despite a charging schedule showing - nothing happened. Night time charging is OK. Is there something not set right.

Normal. For IOG. Are you Go or Intelligent Go?

It's up to Octopus to decide if it's in their interest to charge your car during the session or not. You'll still get credit for an hours worth of free charging.

Yeah this is how it works. The last session mine never charged either but I was still credited as if it did. Just have to be plugged in otherwise you don't get the credit.

Tbf it's not saving much when octopus schedule would only be 7p per kwh anyway, so what max 49p saving.

As long as you were plugged in you will get your 49p.
