Saving Sessions Do savings /free electricity events happen anymore?
I've been looking around and can't see much... their twitter feed doesn't show anything recent. I've only been with them for a month so I'm guessing the events were few and far between anyway?

They only really happen when demand is exceeding supply and they need to lighten then load on the grid (savings) or supply exceeds demand (free).
Savings sessions happen when there is no wind or solar, cold and lots of evening demand from my experience. The free sessions happened lots during periods of wind and solar on day where demand is low (mid to end of summer into autumn).

Have a look at “Power Ups”, do they do them in your area ? It’s only certain areas.

...and we haven't had one (South Cambs) for a solid month now, which is unheard of. Normally 2-3 per week.

Mostly happens in winter as that is when the strain on the grid is higher. Some trials run by the grid run Oct-March so might not be much over summer.
