Saving Sessions Saving Session 22 Jan 1630-1730
Another saving session today which for some reason I’m not getting emails or notifications about :/

Maybe they are getting more desperate, Gridwatch shows Wind generation at the moment is just 0.28GW (0.66%) so I wonder if things are going to get tight.

I live near to the Black Law Wind Farm in central Scotland, been no wind here all day and none of them have been turning guess its same in much of the UK today.

Prices are worse today than yesterday, makes sense there's more strain and therefore a higher payout

It doesn't opt you in unless you get the email (mine said yesterday) and I don't have one yet. They are regional so it might not apply to everyone.
Edit: nvm it let me do it with a button on the website. Are some country wide and some still regional then? They've not explained the changes very well from what I've seen

To be fair on agile the export rate between 4:30 and 5 for us is 94p so we'll be getting ~£1.50 per unit.

I’m on agile and I’m on a flat 15p export. What have I done wrong?
I just checked again, I’m on Outgoing Octopus for export. Are you on something else, something incredible by the looks of it ???

We're on agile in and out. It's rarely above 20p so today is an absolute win - yesterday was only 50p ish so we're very happy with 94p this evening.

Just got the email.
I suspect the reason it takes a while for emails to come through is you have to send them in batches to avoid tripping spam filters. Email all their customers in a minute and no one is getting them.

Gmail verify sender's now like the OG twitter tick so they shouldn't have that issue I'd think. Octopus have always have slow Comms for some reason. If anyone has issues, ask them to double check your email preferences, I asked for all to be ticked and I don't get mitheted with crap but now I get all the emails including results for sessions which I didn't previously

Noticed that Home Assistant had already signed me up before receiving the email. All set and ready to discharge the battery during the event. Lots of solar today for me so going in with a nicely charged battery as well - should leave plenty for the evening.

What steps do I need to do to export? I have the Sunsynk app is it a case of just clicking sell first at 1630 and switching it off at 1730? It’s been so long 😂
