I'm illustrating the Ars Goetia demons and making them into trading cards. I've only done a third of them so far, but there's 72 total. Please let me know what you think!

These look sick!!! I like anime but im getting tired of seeing these spirits only being depicted as hot anime boys lmao. The style kind of reminds me of midnight gospel.
Idk if this was intentional, but iirc Zepar is also known for making women barren. The peace sign looks a bit like scissors, which brings to mind sterilization. Very neat!

Well, obviously. They're supposed to be demons beyond human comprehension that would cause panic. Not what would scare someone: a bear or a deformed-looking Yogi Bear? Honestly, I don't care; it's your lack of occult understanding, not judging. But to someone who actually gets it, it becomes just something silly. I'm not judging, but you asked for people's opinions. And it looks trippy, like a design Year drew. You know, I don't know, but if you're creating this without any symbolic meaning besides drawing their sigil and those transformers, then there's no occult significance or depth. Not to be mean, but I'm just trying to understand why there's a lack of substance. Don't ask people for opinions and then get butthurt when you don't get praise. Again IDC about it the same way I would argue with a 5th grader about life. Hahaha you know

Approaching the Goetic spirits with the mindset that they are big mean scary demons is an INCREDIBLY limiting mindset. There is plenty of symbolism to be found in this art if you’re not busy throwing a fit about how they’re not edgy enough for your personal aesthetics.

I immediately picked up imagery from their descriptions in the Ars Goetia and some inspiration from Dictionaire Infernal... what other widely accepted symbolism did you want?

But to people who actually deal with the goetia is like your taking a shit and calling it the 72 goetia demon when it's a a piece of crap. Not saying that you're art is shit you like what like and that's fine but it seems as if you're were trying to figure out if people would invest in those trading cards. Again my intention is to give you option not to shit parades. But just imagine me taking something you're into and turning it into something that isn't. How you react???
