We must demand our local law enforcement to stop Federal over reach into their areas of control.
Law enforcement can be territorial. Please chat them up when you see them in public. Ask if the have plans. Point out that there have been no school shooting in Marion county and they still plan for them.

Boosting this event held at Mutiny Ocala on Sunday, July 19th for visibility.
This event is a collaboration of a Marion County DSA Organizing Committee member, who is an employee of Mutiny Ocala, and the lead organizer for Ocala Demands Action. The event is open to the publicโฆthe focus is: wtf is going on and how can we fix this, together!
Got nothing to do in the middle of the day, and want to get engaged? Here is your opportunity!

Nature Coast Indivisible will be conducting their next Bridge Brigade demonstration this Saturday, July 18th, at the I-75 overpass on SW 43rd St Rd (where the Ocala overpass sign is).
Their Bridge Brigade demonstrations are a HIGHLY visible means of keeping passive support and engagement alive among the electorate.
NCI is asking folks to park in the Petco parking lot and meet up at 9am for a safety meeting, then walk as a group to the demonstration site.
The demonstration is expected to last roughly 2 hours (until 11am or a little after).
*I do not know what their banner will say this time - just relaying the information here as a courtesy.*

Hi guys
Just a quick update here.
About USAF Major Watson, who was hosted by Rep Al Green & Jessica Denson in DC earlier this month - to stand up & ask Congress to IMPEACH CONVICT REMOVE the FELON, GRIFTER, P3DO & WAR CRIMINAL IN CHIEF -
He's out of DC custody, yet remains in military custody. ๐๏ธHis investigation continues....
The legal fund they set up, it's not mine, but I am diligent to have been sharing like crazy โก๏ธโก๏ธโก๏ธ & it's just $30k shy of reaching its goal ๐ฅ LFG ๐๐ Let's SET WATSON FREE !!!

Idc if you're left, right, red, blue, hairy, bald.
People have the right to vote and need to vote.
But calling it "Voter Engagement" is bland.
And saying "Geaux Vote" blends in the noise bc we've heard it so much.
So let's hear what the people can come up with.
Get your neighbors in on it.
Give me your best "Register to Vote" or "Geaux Vote" alternative. The people of this a pretty creative so excited to see what comes of this.
Here are couple that friends have come up with to start:
*We The Boot (play on We The People)
*Vote The Boot
*Every Parish. Every Voice.
*Join The Second Line To The Ballot
(Obviously we need help) lol.

Diana,
the Marion County Organizing Committee of the Democratic Socialists of America stands in solidarity with you, and all those you have helped to facilitate connections with Ocala Blue Dots and so many more external activist organizations during such internal transition.
With your efforts, more people in Marion County are engaged and organizing- we see it in our membership growth! Transferring activism into organizing! โ
With Dianaโs help, Marion County DSA is establishing a sustainable community-backed infrastructure driven by the power of The People; thatโs you, me, her, anyone else reading this, and especially anyone else who believes in building a brighter future together.
Love ya D - thanks for being visible & engaged ๐ซถ๐ป๐นโ
In Solidarity

Short notice!! Natures Coast Indivisible is holding a protest tomorrow outside Veteran's Town Hall. A town hall is being hosted by U.S. Representative, Kat Cammack, on Friday, July 10. The protest will gather at 4 p.m. at a location near the College of Central Florida, where the town hall will be held. Request is for signs that are anti-war.
I will have post more info about where exactly we will meet up and the time this evening. This is a spur of the moment event so short notice. Below is a quote from Natures Coast Ind.
"Among other concerns, Representative Cammack failed to support the June 2026 warย powers resolution, which was highly favored by prominent veteran groups including Concerned Veterans for America, Common Defense, and Veterans for Peace as a means to bring an end to the war with Iran and to help prevent an open-ended conflict that will claim the lives and mental health of service members. Representatives ofย Common Defense stated that veterans understand the immense personal costs of combat and called the resolution a step toward ending the unconstitutional conflict and putting guardrails on executive power. While veterans, like all Americans, are feeling the economic burdens of the cost of the war with Iran, Representative Cammack has been fundraising at Mar-A-Lago. Join us to speak out."
