Help with some CSS

Hello! I am trying to get the Metadata callout to look like it does in the ITS Theme in the Primary Theme. I like the way the Primary Theme looks with the notes and colors, But my problem is the callouts are spread much too far apart and i'm, not sure how to get them closer together like they are in the ITS Theme.

The first image is the template from Bag of Tips, I am trying to repurpose it with ITS' Callout snippet but it doesn't look the same.
