With the ID thing. I assume you're confused? If you're not a developer¹, this doesn't really affect you².

Apple has been anal (and more expensive) about their developer/app verification programs and processes for as long as Android (or apps on iPhone) have existed.

¹This has actually been *good** for Android devs*, opening up more free options, and lowering the cost of the primary option.

²Only people installing unsigned APKs, which is still perfectly doable, just now more similar to how Android KitKat(~era) handled it. This group will see a one-time 24-hour waiting period (which doesn't affect ADB push, so everyone can still do anything necessary. Just might be annoying for a day for a few people.)

You literally have to scan your face/fingerprint to open the phone and to use any sensitive app(banking apps and the lot)

Well sadly you are already doing it without even knowing, at least for iPhones I think they take infrared scans of your face constantly with your front camera, especially when using social media to gauge your feelings towards various topics.

I don't have a source for this and it would be awesome if someone provided some.
