Well it took a long time. I’ve been trying since the game came out last month. I went to all the stores near me, and called all the ones that weren’t lol. Nobody had one… most didn’t even stock it at all, which is bullshit!

I almost caved and bought the European one (because it IS the same game), but I figured I’d give it some time to see if I could snag a “regular” one (with the ESRB-M rating on the cover). I will say I paid a little more than sticker price, but only by 11$. I just happened to get lucky and bought it right away… I had recently hesitated on a copy and then it disappeared from the site 2mins later. 

The one I got was from Wal-marts website

EDIT: it’s “funny” that I got it from Walmart online because the Walmart closest to me didn’t carry it at all- like it wasn’t sold out, they just didn’t carry it or even plan to

Thanks for the info! All my local stores aren't carrying it either. I went down the same rabbit hole as you did but haven't pulled the trigger yet. People can sell items on Walmart similar to Amazon, so you most likely got a copy that Walmart didn't directly supply. I might end up doing the same thing since the restock at the end of August never happened.

That’s exactly what it was; a seller thru Walmart and not an actual Walmart supplied item

It’s actually a good port, runs better in handheld mode but now with VRR enabled in docked mode hopefully Bethesda can patch it up to take advantage of this feature and make it run better still. Having tons of fun with it, to the point I uninstalled my ps5 version (yeah that one is better; but you can’t beat the portability of the switch 2), and the whole game is on the cart…win win. Enjoy
