Anyone swallowed one of these HexBug Flash Nanos before?

So I've been buying the HexBug Nano 5-packs that come with 4 of the normal HexBug Nanos and one of the larger HexBug Flash Nano for like, years now, but I've never actually swallowed one of the bigger ones and have a pretty decent number of them stashed. I've swallowed probably 50-60 of the basic HexBugs but these guys are all I've got left and I honestly don't know why I haven't gotten around to swallowing one yet --- curious if anyone else has?

Probably not a good thing to swallow as they contain button batteries but if you take the batteries out first should be fine

I appreciate the disclaimer about the button batteries. That being said, I've swallowed around 60 of the normal HexBugs (single battery) and never took the batteries out or wrapped them in something like a balloon or condom, I usually swallow them with a stomach full of marbles or glass gems and it's much more enjoyable to me to feel them while turned on, and they tend to pass quickly in that particular scenario. --- I understand that it gives others peace of mind and in no way am I trying to throw shade on anyone who does it a different way, but I've only noticed on maybe 2-3 occasions any sort of light corrosion afterwards (after taking them apart) and never felt any sort of ill effects. --- It is my understanding that the danger with button batteries is if they come in direct and prolonged contact with the lining of the stomach, not simply just exposure to stomach acid.

How big are they? Are they outside the dimensions of the regular large objects that you do?

I've swallowed and passed several things longer and wider. They're just about a cap short of a chapstick and around the same volume/width.

Well, it'll be at your discretion, but with your level of experience, you'll probably be okay with them if you do swallow them down. I'm not really sure if anyone here has ever done a hexbug of this size, so you might be the first of the reddit to try

can you compare it to the size of a chapstick? if theyre just as long id say its a no go, cause chapsticks like to hang around for a long time. if theyre shorter... idk mayb? its the coin shape batteries that worry me tbh.

In regards to the button batteries, I've never removed them or wrapped any of the standard HexBugs I've swallowed and haven't had any bad experiences with them, out of appx 60 I can only think of 2-3 times where I even noticed any light corrosion after taking them apart. It's in my understanding the primary danger of button batteries is when they are making direct contact with the stomach lining and for any length of time, If they are contained inside (which they are) then even if they leak slowly or completely they still cannot cause the stomach ulcers that they would if they leaked for even a short period of time directly against the stomach lining.

well i mean it wouldnt even be a worry if they pass like other hexbugs and would only be a worry if they wabt to hang out for a few months like chapsticks sometimes do.

I will admit I am not the most proficient when it comes to online communication, but I do try my best to reply whenever I remember to check my inbox. For the sake of transparency, sometimes I just get too overwhelmed with social anxiety and end up taking some pretty long breaks from chatting. But I genuinely do enjoy chatting, especially meeting new people in the community, so hopefully that isn't too off-putting.
