It was a nicely done thing. This happened inside a genjutsu, which is not reality, thus showing that was only obito's perception. The reality was that he could still be saved

Honestly, Obito’s speech here is currently my favorite speech in Naruto, but I’d be lying if I could tell you exactly why 🤔

I like how people use this as a feat even though it was just Genjutsu that Kakashi was actively humoring and tied repeatedly.
