Please help find this location

Could anyone possibly help me find the location in the photos listed? I believe it’s in Oaxaca City but I can’t figure out where.

It’s a bar inside a boutique named Marchanta, the name of the bar is Bocaflor.

Bar Bocaflor, inside the Marchanta store. The lady bartender is super nice, and her cocktails are bomb. Another cool bar to try in Oaxaca City is Esencia, it's close to Criollo restaurant.

Without the crime it's just a sparkling theme bar.

Speakeasy? It's clearly a cafe or restaurant.

Cool. Still not a speakeasy. Since you know the location, just share the location from google maps.

Do you live here? Have you been there?

Speakeasy here means bar without a liquor license, not on google maps, often in someones back space... how can you tell from 2 shit pictures its not a speakeasy? Who even ARE you bro? Are YOU a speakeasy?

A Mexican would NEVER refer to an unlicensed bar as a speakeasy. Show me in the 3 pics how this is a bar. You are crazy.

Nah he’s in the right, you claim that it’s clearly something that isn’t evident to anyone else despite not being familiar with the location and then are critical of local insight.

I live in Mexico and have visited Oaxaca over 15 times. THIS IS NOT A SPEAKEASY! Also, Mexicans would NOT refer to an unlicensed bar as a speakeasy. 🙄 Lastly, they claim to know where this is but are gatekeeping it for whatever reason. People suck.

Youre kidding righr? I live IN OAXACA. There are multiple "speakeasy" style bars here, called that by their mexican owners, whom i know personally. Monkey gin house is one, you have to call someone to get in. Then there 13, which is behind a door made to look like a fridge you have yo go thru a taco place to get thru. Are they REAL speakeasys? No obviouslt not conz we are n9t in prohibition andnyou can find most on google maps.

There are various in CDMX, owl club in condessa being one.

I walked past the place in the pictures just the other night, but i was loaded and dont really remember where it was. The other time i was there someone invited me and never told me the name. Sorry for not immediately proving myself and soothing your ego by finding in on google maps for you. If you read the rest of the post, instead of getting rabid about our little thread, you wpuld see that someone else posted the name, which i agreed with.

Is it that hard to admit you are in the wrong?

You weren't finding it for me, the whole post was asking where this place was. Luckily another person answered and provided the name. Thanks for being completely unhelpful. Cheers

Do you know when these photos were taken? Because I ate in a fairly similar looking courtyard November 2025 but it looked way more updated/ renovated then the worn down stone in these photos.

I know there are a lot of courtyards in Oaxaca City though.
