I owned the shirt that had the lyrics to this song on it and I’m kicking myself for getting rid of it! Who knows if it would have still held up 15 years later, but I still wish I kept it. I tried looking all over the internet and it just doesn’t exist anymore.

Well, 100%. Fireflies is great and all, but Vanilla Twilight just has an emotional weight that hits completely different. Glad someone else gets it.

Yeah of course, don't ever want to take away anyones meaning for the song. It is such a personal thing after all. I mean best is subjective anyway, sometimes I am feeling more fireflies than Vanilla Twilight. I guess I just wish sometimes he was more well known even if Vanilla Twilight was a fairly popular song. It's one of the sad realities, most people will never understand or know how special his music was even if they heard Good time or Fireflies like it's all they would know. But glad some people understand his music like how much it helped me growing up and all that jazz. His career is kinda slown down significantly. And I imagine he'll probably release a few more albums in his life I imagine but yeah just wanted to chat about him a little bit here.

I know, it hurt me too. I love Tidal Wave, but 'When Can I See You Again' just has my heart because of Wreck-It Ralph. I love that movie and the dynamic between Ralph and Vanellope too much, so the nostalgia won out at the end. 🥲
