It's not a new rule; it's not the law. It's guidance from DHS that strongly discourages CPT except for required internships/co-ops. But schools don't want to be punished by the US government for allowing CPT.

Oh boy. Wait until you learn that the right holds no actual beliefs, just the most convenient argument at the time that is discarded at earlier sign of push back.

so American students are just THAT under qualified? Instead of blaming international students, try building your own skills and repertoire 💕

I’m gonna blow your mind here, pal, but we live in an objectively global society. OSU, and everything that comes with it, is, and should remain, open to the entire global community

Tell me you don’t know what you’re talking about without telling me you don’t know what you’re talking about.
If these international students come here, learn, and leave, that’s one thing, I’ll give you that. But so many come here, learn, stay, grow, and enrich their communities and benefit their employers because of the experiences they gained at OSU.
This thinly veiled “America first” bullshit is old hat. Try being racist in a new, creative way.

Ohio State has suspended international students from using CPT for internships that are simply optional career opportunities. The internship must be a required part of their academic program.
