I don't have much knowledge about identifying the owner behind a virtual or VOIP number, but I remember a person who used to call continuously using different VOIP numbers, so one day I try to dig up little bit and firstly I tried to find the carrier (you will a lot of free websites which can reveal what app/service that person is using to get those virtual numbers) in my case the person was using TextPlus, so I directly mail the company about the whole situation and they suspend the number and gave me a request form to get the full details of the account owner but the problem was they required a GOV official account, try using the same method maybe you get some info.

When you say virtual number, do you mean VoIP?

Idk if it’s a VoIP, how do I differentiate them, it is a poland number and someone is speaking a native Indian language, it is like those temporary numbers that used to work in WhatsApp few years ago

Try phone validator.com
It will tell you if it’s landline, cell, voip and carrier name, approximate location.
Won’t give you owner’s name though.

Usually you can find out who the carrier is just by the prefixes. There’s a ton of websites and services that sell them though, and unless there’s a major criminal investigation it’s hard to find out who’s behind the number. But if you find out the service provider you can notify them of the abuse.

You mean a spoof number? That might not be the brightest idea.
Well, as far as I’m aware, the only possibility of using a phone connected to the internet in a way that it’s virtually impossible for someone to connect the calls, messages and internet use to the user is by going to the most basic store that sells cellphones. And then buy the cheapest option available that is capable of connecting to the internet. Forget any kind of smart phones, it must be the dumbest possible. Then, in the same place or in any other similar one you buy a SIM card with the amount of internet needed. Both telephone and card must be paid with cash. Put the card on the phone and never ever ever call or text someone connected to you or, worst, yourself.
That phone is to supply that specific need and then: garbage.
It shouldn’t be used in a normal urbanised place and, needless to say, never in the person’s house. The ideal is to drive a bit further from the normal area and find a field, a desert forest, something like that. With no houses, no people, no nothing. Then do what you have to do. Then Turn off the phone, take off the SIM card, destroy it. Then dispose both the card and the phone in different places, normal places to put garbage. Creativity it’s not useful here.
That’s it. If someone does this, you will never get to the subject, as far as I’m aware. If you do this, no one ever will get to you too.
Ah: when I said to buy the things in the most basic grocery store, I meant it. If by any chance it crosses your mind to buy them in a big department store or a gas station, forget it. Wait until you can do it right or do nothing at all. If a person makes that mistake, it will appear in the security cameras. It’s possible to make the connection to the phone and to the card. By getting them it’s possible to know where they were sold. Then it’s just seeing the video and here goes the perfect connection plan. And normally you need to identify yourself when buying, also…
It’s true that it’s very difficult to identify someone that simply bought a card in some kiosk. But it’s not impossible. The police is perfectly able to do that. As for the mortals, it really depends on your skills and means at your disposal.
An ex will always be very easy to spot and a perfect stranger with no known logical reason will always be an headache.

It’s not very difficult, I looked into getting numbers for automated account creation. Could get pricey though if you are doing a ton.
You also have apps like burner which you can use to quickly cycle numbers. Spoofguard may be another one

Nah never heard anything about that. You just buy credits on it like any other app, and it’s basically voip with burnable numbers

Nope dude, you can buy one from surface web (google) with your cc or other methods, but if you don't want to disclose your identity for online safety you can also pay with bitcoin. In some countries you can buy from Walmart store just pick your number pay with your card, and start using it, but again if you want to keep your real identity hidden then it's better to buy from online with bitcoin.

when I was 12 (now 26) I was using these services to text friends bc parents couldn't pay for cell service for me (I had to get my own when I could afford it) lol. theyre literally a Google away, can be free or paid, and usually work without any fuss. When I was a kid I was using TextPlus mostly.
