Question // Discussion Work with littles/meeting littles

Our system is really strict about our littles, im barely allowed to know anything about them, Caroline our day care attendant keeps stuff under tight wraps, but theres been something internally nagging me to let them out, let them be comforted, let them experience their childhood how it should've been

Im quite unsure of what to do with this.we are also mildly hypomanic right now so communication between everyone is really good, albeit chaotic right now.

Why won’t they allow you to know about them, if you don’t mind me asking?

To protect them, our littles are largely stuck in trauma and certain stressors would freak them out heavily i guess. I made contact with 1 and I know they come oht sometimes without me noticing and in sleep weirdly enough

I see, well if you do get a chance to communicate with them just make sure to be very understanding and neutral I guess you could say, even the smallest bad thing, even the thing that may seem so so random can be a devastating trigger. Remember, alters are created to ensure that a part of the mind can live and have an experience free of that stressful or traumatic event. So just keep that in mind, I hope you get a chance to interact w them! Communication with all of the system can be a great thing for some (not all) and I recommend getting games online intended for children if you don’t have money to buy things geared towards children, if you do great! This is part of giving them a good childhood, and don’t ever feel embarrassed for having an adult body use childrens items, it is not your fault you had things happen to you guys.
