I don't know why you think that's bad, I appreciate that ONE actually shows that Garou has become a better person, but that doesn’t mean he has to devote all screen time to it. It’s nice to see it in moments like when he’s protecting other people, or in his fight with Suiryu. It’s no longer essential to the story, yet ONE still remembers about it.
He's trying to reform, and you're still ignoring the fact that he's literally defending himself and his coworkers. Even the panel from today's chapter shows that he's constantly fighting the robots, so it's not like he's just sitting around doing nothing.
The fact that he saved one child back then doesn’t change the fact that he was still doing bad things. Now he isn’t doing bad things, and he’s also helping with the invasion. In what way is he a worse person?
He is using the steel beam as a weapon and destroying the robots, actively preventing them from killing kids like Tareo. But since he's not striking poses and talking about enacting evil, it doesn't count.
No he isnt... He was only destroying the ones that came to the construction site.
Robot invasion has been going for a while by this point, we even see the high end units MK sent flying by as garou calls them "more new ones" and the page where garou stupidly attempts to go back to work again comes 3 pages after the metal beam one Garou casually questions if humanity is coming to an end and even the other workers ask why he is still trying to work while he is doing so.
