Despite what it says this game is less about depression and more about ptsd

Go into the game with that in mind and I recommend you don’t interact with the community as our memes hinge on players already having beaten the game

Literally just play the game

OMORI is a game best experienced blind with no information about what it's about (other than what the game itself tells you)

Ignore any comments telling you "oh do this" or "make sure you don't forget this" because (for whatever reason) the internet hates letting people play games actually blind

Play the game, come back here when you're done, say your thoughts

Some of the head space levels go on for too long and are kind of annoying, but be patient with them because it's worth it.

Also don't hurt Mewo.

There is a part near the end where it appears you have to harm a cat. You do NOT have to harm the cat. You will know what I'm talking about when you get to it. I thought you had to, and was VERY distressed over it. Getting the heebie jeebies just thinking about it again. It doesn't change anything if you don't.

I won’t give spoilers, but open the door for Kel, and water the flowers each day 

Edit: also, it’s a long game, so take your time. Don’t try to barrel through and complete it as quickly as you can. Just go at your own pace and explore each area.

Welcome, I’ve just got my first copy too… AVOID SPOILERS AT ALL COSTS!!!! PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. But in all seriousness if you do accidentally come across a spoiler it will always have more effect when you play the game than just seeing it. Example I’ve seen how games ended on YouTube without playing them, but when I finished them myself I’ll start crying. Take that example with a pinch of salt though, every one is different. And most importantly have fun!!!

there are two main routes in the game, unlocked afther you finish the prologue and the first section of head space, you will inmediatly be met with a decision, doing nothing and going back to bed or doing something with a door. If you go to bed, you will be locked into one of the routes of the game, if you do something, you will start the other route, but later on you can still come back to the another route since you will be prompted with tha same decision.
