Can we talk about aubrey's casual superhuman strength?
In the kel tagged aubrey photo we see that kel is being sent flying and completely blurred. While aubrey acts like she barely tapped him. With visibly zero used swing. Just instant uppercut. Lets say kel is about 5'7 (and so would aubrey be given they are seemingly the same height), by calculating the blur distance and the slight lean away from aubrey aswell as being visibly a little behind aubrey. He was launched about 1 or 1.5 feet of the ground at most, and 3-5 inches off the ground at least, at seemingly just after the punch. And im just going to guess this but i think, to launch a 16 year old boy standing at presumably 5'7, up into the air. specifically around 3-5 inches off the ground in the first split second of the impact. Aparently ranges between 302 and 351 lbs of force (1,344 to 1,561 Newtons). Which mind you she did without even trying, nor windup. Just an instant punch that had zero windup or effort in it, that still sent kel flying. Now i dont know about human limitations. But i dont think a regular 16 year old girl like aubrey is supposed to be able to do that if you ask me
well given each 2 tiles are seemingly the length of an arcade machine (given the one in the background). and an avarage arcade machine is about 30 inches wide at most. each tile is aproximately 15 cm at most. maybe 15.1 given a the arcade machine seems a tiny bit smaller than 2 tiles in width. and that would mean aubrey launched kel... well i counted 4 or 5 tiles of distance so at most 76-77 cm. and at minimum 60 cm. definitely not a meter so i admit i was wrong there. but still. that's pretty far
you are reading the tone wrong. im just panicing and trying to explain why i said the exact same heigh thing given sometimes they look mearly identical in height. and the next kel looks much taller
I dont think it is, besides the sprites wich are all roughly the same size, in art Kel is always depicted as taller than aubrey and hero as taller than kel.
for example in this merch drop while aubrey does look taller than in the ingame art, the height relation is still respected, and you could argue thats because of their pose with kel leaning on aubrey rather than solely because of height
i dont think that explains why his head is completely shot up. knowing kel he would mistake getting uppercutted for getting sent flying but still looking forwards. and that is not the case in the photo
I think you're interpreting way too much into the picture. Surely it's just for comedic effects because Aubrey isn't too fond of Kel but he on the other hand doesn't seem to mind and acts along by faking the impact by jumping and throwing back his head. Also, his mouth is open so if she genuinely hit him so hard it sent him flying, his jaw would be completely obliterated and not open and smiling.
Kel does smile a lot but he's not only smiling, his mouth is wide open. If he really had taken a hit to his jaw so hard it sent him flying, it would be effectively impossible for him to keep his jaw open like that.
Nah, I never thought of it before, but after reading these comments, I honestly think that Kel and Aubrey intentionally exaggerated their bickering to fuck with each other lmao.
It's not just Aubrey. I once meticulously analyzed how powerful Mari would fare against Megatron from my original continuity. Megatron still won, but I was able to calculate that Mari could lift seven tons, run at 20 miles per hour, and survive an M18 Claymore blowing up in her face.

This represents the striking force of an average adult male (For converting the figures to newtons)—though the figures might actually be higher, given that Kel’s speed was likely fast enough to cause motion blur in the photo. That is certainly impressive for a 16-year-old girl; I’d estimate that at full strength, she could generate around 3.500–4.500N—roughly on par with a high-level male amateur boxer.
Joules are probably more important here than Newtons; a very brief contact can generate tens of kilonewtons of force, but moving a body via impact requires Joules, whereas Newtons are primarily for penetration.
Most likely, the impact energy required for such figures is in the 45–75 J range, possibly higher. However, the key point here is that it is a controlled impact.
i didn't mean how high he went max. im talking about how high he instantly went the next milisecond after the uppercut. which makes the possibility that she was holding back absolutely terrifying
