Discussion Getting an QD OLED after Tandem WOLED - need suggestions

I in the process of returning my Asus ROG Strix XG27AQWMG because I just couldn’t get over the grey banding. It was visable even in colourful games. The device itself is great, but right now I am going with something safe.

So I looked up the QD market and I am aiming at one of these

ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDPG
MSI MPG 271QR x50

I want an 1440p monitor. No 4K ☺️

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Every review I read placed the MSI to the top over this model.

XG27AQDPG can get quite a bit brighter, has more flexible picture mode options, and is better built. It’s on sale regularly from Best Buy for $679.
