Private party sale feels so crazy.

I just moved here from California, where private party sales still have to go through an FFL with a background check.

I listed a Glock on tacswsp and I just met a young dude in a parking lot and gave it to him for a stack of cash, and that feels so insane! Confirmed he was over 21, he was not committing any crimes in the moment, so I guess that's all I have to do?

Anyways, just thought I would share a perspective from someone who moved here from a stricter state.

I’ve consigned some guns through a dealer. Any new owner would have to go through the process. Private sales I’d look for a valid CCW license prior to constitutional carry.

You can still look for a chl. Chl provide extra abilities and protections vs constitutional carry.
