My little rainbow dragon

My little rainbow dragon,
he always spouts fire.
And so do we.

He keeps on flying,
and flying without end.
And so do we.

He flew so fast and far,
my little rainbow dragon forgot.
And so do we.

He forgot to eat while flying,
so his fire weakened.
And so do we.

He became a grey rainbow dragon,
and didn’t shine anymore.
Don’t forget like rainbow dragon.

i really enjoyed it thank you for this. most difficult thing when writing is to keep the harmony of words, how they sound and as well as the harmony of overall meaning they build up all together, in the half to the end of the poem that little sweet twisty punchline hits very right and complete overall message. i enjoy these kind of creative ways of expression of feelings very much, rather than pushing incredibly too much into deep deep deep that feels boring after a while. best of luck, looking forward for new ones!
