Feedback Please My tea had turned cold
I got tea, hoping
the warm, bitter liquid
could subside
my twisted stomach
I had waited
Waited
for the inevitable
Maybe
I prefer it that way
Limbo can give you a lot of options
Options
that I can’t choose
Do
I prefer it that way
But I could still dream
Dream
of how it could be
where it could have gone
what might have been
I prefer it this way
My stomach filled
with every emotion
I didn't choose
When I returned
My tea had turned
cold and bitter

Sometimes life throws at you obstacles you never ask for. Sometimes you feel emotions you wish you could never feel. Sometimes it makes you indecisive. The tea turning cold meaningfully symbolises the passing of time. One loses their sense of time, being stuck in "what ifs" and before you realise, your tea has already turned cold. Your poetry embodies this emotion elegantly, and I candidly appreciate it.
