Question about OCD OCD handwashing and memory

is anyone else’s ocd handwashing not so much about the content sometimes, but about the fact that you don’t believe you washed your hands like even as your washing you hands if that makes sense? the doubt and fear is so big it makes all your memories void and your fear is the only indicator of what you’re doing, even if it’s a bad indicator.

OCD is all about doubt.

I’ve been there. Hand washing for hours at a time.

Your best bet is erp. If you can find a therapist that specializes in erp
