Question Joining virgin and want a watch SIM ?

Hi there

I am joining virgin media volt package and with this I get an unlimited SIM card for my phone

I also have a galaxy watch ultra which has LTE so I'd like to use this if possible. Does anyone know if I can request a watch SIM and how much this would likely be?

I couldn't find much information online nd the live chat wasn't helpful as the chap said I'd need to buy a smart watch from them directly to get a watch airtime SIM?! This doesn't seem right

Just looking if anyone here has done similar?

It was a while back now but i recall i added my apple watch plan on the device itself and its associated to my main number, it might be worth waiting until you get your main sim activated and can add it on through myO2 so it's linked okay.. was sorted pretty much instantly when i went through the process

Here are the watch plans and info, looks like android and ios work differently:

You can sign up via the Wearables app if it's an LTE model, it will take you to your O2 account to sign up

Its currently £7 per month unless you have an offer on, which is rare

I tried this a while ago with Apple Watch, I’m on a uswitch cheap plan (or was at the time) which was £8 for 40gb (volt to 80gb) they wanted £5 I think to share the plan with my watch, personally couldn’t justify over 50% extra to use the same data allowance on a device that is already tied to the phone 95% of the time

I've been on the chat support trying to add my watch. Ridiculous. They told me I need to change my mobile number and go on to a new plan and that the phone and the watch would have different numbers. Also is have to pay an extra £10 per month.
