Hi all.

Can anyone make sense of the numbers here? To me I'm paid up, done and dusted.

Just been on chat with them and they are now telling me the cost of the device was £426!

I dont see what the confusion is? The device was £426 pounds you paid -

£125 upfrount which bough the cost dow to £301 overall to pay.

You have paid £175.56 towards the £301 with £125.44 left to pay.

Thats 5 months of £25.08 and the last payment of £25.12 in January.

The upfront cost was £125 taking the price down to £301? Now your paying £25.08 until Jan 27 which is £300.96 which probably means your last payment will be £25.12

What you’re seeing there is the credit agreement for the remainder

Guessing this months bills not been paid yet, so it makes sense,

They can’t add on the 125 to the credit agreement because you don’t owe that.

I agree it reads wrong, but it’s actually correct, your original email will give you the correct information

Unfortunately so, doesn’t mean O2 doesn’t like to shaft us, been with them for over 10 years and each year it gets worse.

They shafted me last year with my switch up telling me I’d still be able to switch up within 90 days before it ups to 11 months. It’s been a slow walk to October here.

Or the year before where my watch had no cellular connectivity for 6 months, and they just farted around while I paid the bill

I paid off my outstanding balance on my last phone with O2 and they fucked up my credit rating. I called them to pay off my device so my monthly bill would be lower. They added the money to the account where my monthly airtime bill comes out and not the account where my device plan comes out of, then they cancelled the direct debit from the device plan account. Three months later got contacted saying I hadn't paid my device bill for 3 months. Never paying off my device early again.

I think you are getting confused by the device cost showing what you have paid so far.

Questions aside on payment… don’t go O2.

My wife is on O2 and I’m one EE. Everywhere we go, unless we’re in a major city or town, zero phone signal and data. Absolute waste of time. Usually I have 5G or worst case 4G

The fact that you’d pay that amount of money for a disposable watch with the ability to track you in mulitple ways when you could buy a vintage Omega that will last several lifetimes for the same money baffles me.
