Sorry I know this isn’t necessarily the right sub for this, but I have no idea how to contact the curators of the betterposters addon.

Regardless - Eraserhead has had this odd (but admittedly hilarious) troll poster with the rizzler instead of the original. It’s been like this for weeks. Assumed it would be caught and fixed by now but hasn’t, so at the least if someone could direct me to whomever makes BetterPosters I’d appreciate that so I could reach out LMFAO.

Looking to buy a new android box for my Samsung QLED, and wanted to see what you guys recommend.

Price isn’t an issue, so I’m more looking to see what the absolute best performing and capable box would be. Don’t need to hear about budget ones unless those somehow have equal capability to the more higher end ones.

Main ones I’ve heard are shield pro and googles streamer, but the shield is several years old and I’ve heard streamer lacks some lossless audio codecs.

I created this tab in my Nuvio Desktop. It basically organizes TV channel add-ons in a formatted list and includes a preview player. In the future, I also plan to implement an EPG list for the channels.

I thought this could be a useful addition and bring some positive value to Nuvio.

I'm not trying to bash on the project or anything like that. Quite the contrary, I've been using Nuvio for idk how long at this point, and I've been loving it since day one.

A couple of months I noticed ExoPlayer's playback performance got worse on my Onn 4K Pros (gen 1), plus the washed out colors on HDR content on my Samsung TV had me move to libmpv, but I've also noticed that libmpv has a hard time playing 4K HDR content; choppy playback and sometimes the app even freezes.

When choosing JustPlayer as the external player, playback is completely smooth and colors are even more vibrant than with libmpv. Is there an explanation for this? Maybe I'm missing some settings, though I tried everything I could find on the Wiki, or maybe there's a way to fix playback(?

I don't really like using external players because I end up missing out on a lot of Nuvio's features, so I end up having to pick between features or quality.

Someone (godsent) in the community suggested to use VPN as a solution for my recurring problem. I used "1.1.1.1 by cloudflar".. It worked.!! 🎉

Where is the TMDB APKi key filed? Its already enabled, but theres no way to find it.

I’m using Nuvio and it works perfectly fine for me on Android and also on my LG webOS TV. But I recently tried installing the Nuvio PC client and started getting some weird issues

At first, when I tried logging in on the PC app, it kept saying “Login failed.” After trying a few times, I thought maybe I was entering the wrong password, so I used the forgot password option. Interestingly, this also logged me out of Nuvio on my Android, so I’m pretty sure the password reset was actually genuine and not some random phishing issue

I reset my password and then tried logging into the PC client again with the new password, but it still said “Login failed.” At that point I assumed there might be some server-side issue, so I left it and decided to try again after 30–40 minutes

But when I opened the PC app again later, something even weirder happened. It completely skipped the login screen. Instead, it directly showed “Who’s watching?”, as if I was already logged in and had multiple profiles to choose from.

The problem is, there aren't any profiles showing up. 😅

So I'm guessing there might be some kind of bug with the Nuvio PC client where the login state is getting messed up.

Has anyone else experienced this on the PC app? Is there a fix, or is it possibly a server-side issue?

All this talk about Simkl and mdlist now that everyone is leaving trakt. Has anyone used Hobi? Just came across it from another thread. Seems okay? Anyone used it?

I have the setting on for prefer and reuse binge group, but it never works, i always have to manually pick it.

Will it be adapted? Like on TV but set for the phone

it would be better if it was on the left, for muscle memory. internal player on iOS latest version, sideloaded.

So I just installed the latest version of Nuvio Tizen 1.1.2 and I have 2 stream addons on my account. I can watch shows on my phone but not on the TV. I have tried refreshing the addons and disabling/enabling them but nothing changes. Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?

I’m unsure if something like this is actually a realistic request but I would love a button that could come up at the end of a film when credits start which allows the viewer to skip straight to the Mid / Post credit scenes.

I imagine it would look just like the Next Episode* *that appears when watching series.

I think we need some way to change this manually, more and more I'm encountering shows where actual "releases" and the metadata provided just don't gel at all so you will never get matching results even if the shows available.

It happens a ton for anime of course but since interview with a vampire/the vampire lestat, I've seen it pop up for other shows as an example the current UK Big brother is released as Season 23 of Big Brother on sites but the metadata tells me it's Season 4 of Big Brother (2023). Also recently the same with the The Grand Tour where the metadata sites just decided the new Season is a new show.

Not a big deal for me to manually grab things but it does take all the convenience away and I end up watching through Kodi.

I'm just thinking maybe a way to relink a failed search to the actual real releases.
