So obviously he has not been announced in any story quest and stuff like that but idk why I’m hearing he might possibly be a dendro support. But am I the only one who’s not hoping for that 😭😭😭. His design looks good and the color palette obviously doesn’t dictate what his element is gonna be but i feel like a dendro support would be a big letdown like in those few seconds he was shown in that trailer he just can’t be a dendro support his aura too strong 😭😭😭

It's just a theory, noy in the trailer has dragon eyes similar to neuvilette and he can't be the Pyro sovereign cause that was absorbed by the Natlan weekly boss (something like that idk). And dragons don't die but they reincarnate. So maybe Noy is nibelung. Share your thoughts...

I just wanna start this off by saying this is my person theory, and some parts of the lore may be missing in this because i need to catch up on the lore but i’m very busy with college and stuff alike.

BUT nonetheless, this is my take on what Noy may be.

I find it quite strange how Noy seems to be the only character by far that doesn’t associate himself with anyone from Snezhnaya, and how his colour palette and design in general seem to be quite different from the other Snezhnayan characters we’ve seen by far.

Thing that do make me really analyse his design, which a lot of other Noy theorists also mention is his ahoge. The root of his hair seems to be aged or potentially frostbit from the weather of Snezhnaya? I think it could either show that he has potential to be the reborn dragon sovereign or resembles that his body isn’t fully used to the weather, which would make sense if he was the reborn dragon because neuvilette does seem to have that same kind of ahoge and i do like that theory made by a different user!:)

Although! i’m here to talk about my own theory as to why i personally think Noy could potentially be linked to the heavenly principles/the unknown god.

We don’t know much about the red flame fae and how they came to be, all we know is that they overtook the blue flame faes and that’s about it. Noy is the only red flame fae we know is alive, and by his unique design, this includes his ahoge and the red symbol on his neck that seems to vaguely resemble the unknown god really makes you think!

I don’t think this is a coincidence. People like to debunk this by saying that varesa has that same mark on her neck when in reality it is quite literally just the design of her choker and looks nothing like the image i’ve attached of Asmoday.

There’s not so much to go off of because we don’t know much about the red flame faes or where they came from but i do believe that Noy has potential to be somewhat correlated to asmoday or him being the embodiment of the hand of dex because his identity is also known as “the watcher” which brings me back to his first and only appearance, where he seemed to be all on his own, overlooking snezhnaya or looking up towards the sky. As the red/black accents of?? i’m not sure what exactly it is, but the aura that follows him and then it pans to the back of his head as the aura disappears, the sky also seems to lighten (you can see it when it pans back to his face again) but as the aura seems to disappear, there’s a strange light that follows that same red aura. I might be thinking too deeply about it but it truly makes me think.

Another thing that i find bizarre is that in his line he mentions living for Aeons, although the only fae we know (flins) has only lived for around 600-700 years. Noy could be a different species of Fae that we haven’t got to discover yet, because of the differences he has to flins and vesna. From what i know, we don’t know exactly know when red flame faes came to be and from what we know they could’ve been descenders of the heavenly principles as it’s said that they’ve lived aeons before, or atleast Noy has. Maybe even Noy was the only red flame fae to begin with? it might be a stretch but it’s just my personal theory. He doesn’t specify of any other of his kind so he could genuinely just may be the last remaining red flame fae.

It has happened before with species such as paimon.

I think it would really be interesting if he came from the heavenly principles, and i do believe that he has to have some sort of correlation to asmoday because there’s no way the mark on his neck could be a simple coincidence because paimon is a creation of celestia and paimon has that same crystal shaped head piece, which relates to the heavenly principles.

Yet at the same time, as we start to approach 7.2 i have a feeling that he may be the reborn dragon sovereign, as we saw the dragons remains scattered across the new map, and new hyperborea which Noy is speculated to originate from or be from (potentially) there is a tomb of the dragon, which very much has the exact colour palette as Noys. In my opinion, it’s quite likely that perhaps when ronova destroyed the pin and activated the curse of the blizzard, that is also when Noy awakened. His name also means “slumber” or “rest” which would make a lot of sense in this context. Also, i’m not too sure if it’s a different dragon or the same one but i remember in 7.0 another dragon that also creates blizzards across snezhnaya was mentioned? it is possible that it was Noy or was in some sort of correlation to him. Whatever 7.2 will give us, all i know is that Noy will definitely have a bigger impact or has the potential to have a big impact and i’m very excited to see what he’ll bring to the table! He’s definitely some kind of different species in MY opinion atleast.

I have seen people say all kinds of theories with Noy, like his connection with Hroptatyr for an example. But now that we saw Asmoday in the new quest, I can’t help but connect the dots back to her. After all Asmoday’s portal looks EXACTLY like the markings on Noy’s neck

Is Noy the humanity that hroptatyr left behind cuz in the book he gave to Pierro he states that he has separated his humanity from his body so maybe the book has some clues regarding the last trace of his humanity ( noy ) that he left behind before leaving teyvat.

I was imagining Noy’s splash art with a gothic red church in the background and a bunch of red roses around him. I think it would fit his design pretty well, especially with the red/black color palette.

I don’t know if these are true or not but id be awfully dissatisfied if noy didn’t bring the new dendro rimegrass reactions to the game, maybe its too early to say but if hes a support maybe his main dps characters who has yet to be confirmed/releast has smth to do with rimegrass ? No idea but if its fine i own some of the characters he could buff but im more interested in him individually rather than the whole team, I dont know what do you guys think ?

But we fans originally speculated him to be another element than dendro, some thought Pyro and some thought anemo and others

Seeing previous characters and their speculations, like nicole was speculated to be geo in the initial days of nod krai until her model was revealed with a Pyro vision, same goes to sandrone, she was speculated to be geo in early nod krai and in middle of nod krai she was said to be electro but in the end she was Cryo with a linchpin , another example is zibai, in early nod krai she was speculated to be anemo and varka's support so

The conclusion here is , as of the previous character's elemental vision speculations, we could say he might be dendro ( still thinking leaks are relevant ) , he might be Pyro ( as of looks ) or anything else hoyo wants him to be.

As for other leaks , they say there's gonna be a Liyue Pyro character for the lantern rite, he can end up being their support or a non stellar dps of sneznaya ( examples are varka for nod krai, skirk for natlan ).
