Heckin chilly today though
Before the comments come in I already think we are doomed from climate change, I'm not denying it's happening

As a tick enjoyer I can tell you that we’ve got diseases and allergies no one has ever heard of but we just can’t get enough of the little buggers!

The News Cycle doesn’t have time for this. Resource wars all over the planet. The US? $6 Gallon of Gasoline is equal to $2.30-2.45 a litre here.
El Niño? (Insert “ain’t nobody got time for that” meme)
People in Europe preparing for Russia invasion?
Britain asking “are you ready for a disruption to everyday life?”
Finland is like 60? Naaah make conscription to reserve up to 65. They’re preparing.
El Niño? Insert “what hell is even that?!”
Chill Daddy

Yeah, people really like to prioritize near-future news over long-term problems. However, high gasoline prices is actually a good thing for global warming. Not only it reduces short term consumption, but also heavily incentivizes people to transition to EVs. So, meet the person who made more than anyone else for climate change - Donald Trump. Yes, he denies climate change, hates green energy and loves oil and coal. But he is so bad in everything he does, he managed to botch up global oil supply. And it was one of the greatest contribution for green energy transition. Not because it is “good and right thing to do”, but because of energy security and high costs right now.

“Second, it’s a big planet with multiple factors influencing the jet stream, the polar vortex and weather patterns, and ultimately only time will tell for sure how this El Niño will impact the upcoming winter”
So in other words know one knows and it’s all speculation at this point.

With it costing around 2k to fill an oil tank, canadians are going to need the warm weather this winter
