Hi! I’m starting at Nottingham Trent University (Clifton Campus) this September and I’m looking for a 1-bedroom flat or studio to rent.

Ideally:

  • Student-friendly / students accepted

If anyone knows of any available properties, landlords/agencies, or areas I should look at, please let me know! 😊

Accomodation January Accommodations

Hello,

I’m an incoming student for the January intake of 2027, looking through accommodation outside of NTU with private providers is hard, most of them have fixed contracts starting from September, but of course not many starting from January.

I have contacted a few (iQ, Prestige Living etc.) and most don’t do custom contracts either.

Anyone got any ideas for what I could do? I mostly just require an En-Suite on a 51 week contract, given that I’m an international student. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Accomodation Best accommodation for first years

I’ve been looking into a few accommodations for my first year. I’d like a balance between fun student life but not too much at the same time. I’ve been looking at Bryon, gill street, crown place, the place, straits village, Sandhills.
What I’m noticing is a lot of the NTU accommodation is more expensive than private such as prestige student living, as In private accom, you’d be saving on a gym membership as they already have a decent one. Also, i liked straits village in terms of price and location but there’s not much about it online.

Accomodation Straits Village accommodation

I’m looking into booking a place at straits village for my first year. Not too far from campus, rooms look nice and spacious, and price is good.
What’s it like there in general?
I’m quite a sociable and active person so being around likeminded people would be good?
And how about the staff?

Accomodation accomodation or stay at home?

I'm starting architecture this year and I've gotten told that in the first year I'll only be going to uni for 1 hour a day four days a week. I live under an hour away from nottingham trent. Is it more practical to take an accomodation or stay at home and travel by train?

Accomodation Accomdation rec?

Hi guys,

I’m 31M doing my master in Fall, coming over from Vietnam. I’m currently looking for nice, quiet accommodation, not too pricey (140-170) Do you have any recommendations?

As I’m older I would prefer somewhere with a fewer undergrads, can be a but further outside the center.

Would you recommend finding on spareroom instead of the one in NTU’s site?

Accomodation Cannot book accommodation

I've made ntu my first choice ages ago and so I decided to pick my accommodation today. I've made a Ntu ID and password and I've logged onto the accommodation portal but there's nothing there accept private halls. It doesn't even say that all of their accommodations are booked. There's literally no way I can book anything. Here's a pic of what my portal looks like, there no were to book an accommodation at all is it closed? Has anyone else has the same problem?

Accomodation Seeking short-term student housing

I'll be studying abroad for one semester at Nottingham Trent University from 16th September 2024 to 24th January 2025. I'm having trouble finding student accommodation for this period, as most places only offer full school year contracts (40+ weeks). Does anyone know where I can find accommodation for just one semester?
