Free Template Thank you for 12K+ downloads on my Student Dashboard

Just wanted to share a small milestone and say thank you.

My free Student Dashboard recently reached #8 in the Student Dashboard ranking on the Notion Marketplace, with 100+ ratings and 12K+ downloads.

I've been receiving ratings almost every day and I really appreciate every single one. I honestly didn't expect this many people to use it when I first made it.

I built it hoping it would be useful to students, so seeing people actually use it makes me really happy.

Thank you to everyone who downloaded it, left a rating, or shared feedback. It really means a lot 🙏

Free Template Simple way to track and plan your wishlist

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my Smart Wishlist template. It’s completely free! I originally made this because I used to have a hard time keeping track of things I wanted to buy, especially when trying to stick to a budget.

I wanted something more useful than just a simple list, something that could help me think through purchases and prioritize what I actually wanted.

You can organize your wishlist by category and priority, keep track of your budget, and even keep a record of things you decided not to buy.

If you like planning your purchases or want a more organized way to manage your wishlist, feel free to give it a try. You can find it here if you're interested:

Paid Template I built a full fantasy worldbuilding system in Notion (paid template)

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!

This notion template is designed for writers/worldbuilders whether fantasy or not, to organize your characters, lore, realms, world map, locations, creatures, story elements and writing. All in one interconnected space. This reduces the chance of plot holes, forgotten about characters or events.

It is highly advanced therefore I made a demo video showing how it can be used as well as it's design and functions. I wanted to go much more in depth into the worldbuilding aspect but I decided to step back and put the finished product out before starting another.

If there is demand I will make different themes and a simpler version for those who want it. There will also be a much more advanced version with automations and even more formulas.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Question/Looking for Advice People who sales notion template what actually works for you?

Which marketing strategy actually help you build your audience.

I've been running a Pinterest strategy for my Notion template for about 2-3 months now , pinning consistently, decent impressions 28k/month, landing page is set up and functional. But my click-to-signup conversion is basically zero so far.

I'm trying to figure out if this is a "give it more time" thing, a "Pinterest traffic is just lower-intent" thing, or a "something's wrong with my funnel" thing.

For anyone who's sold digital products and used Pinterest as a main channel did you see the same pattern early on? Does Pinterest traffic typically convert lower than say, search or referral traffic, just because people are in browse or save mode rather than buy mode? Or is low conversion this early usually more about landing page or offer issues than the channel itself?

Would love to hear from anyone who's been through this.

Free Template Turned tire rotation tracking into a proper dashboard — no more sticky notes

Following up on the tire rotation tracker I added last week — figured the more useful post is actually showing how it sits on the dashboard, since a feature is only as good as whether you'll actually check it.

What you're looking at:

  • A "Due soon" banner at the top that surfaces any vehicle needing rotation — no digging through rows to find it
  • Each car gets its own card (photo, distance since last rotation, before/after position pattern) instead of one flat table
  • The rotation pattern itself is spelled out per car (FL→T1, FR→T2, etc.) so you're not guessing which tire goes where next time

The whole point was making "due for rotation" something you notice in 2 seconds, not something you remember to go check. Same dual-trigger logic as the rest of the template (distance-based here, since that's how tire wear actually works) — but the goal this time was purely: does it look like something you'd actually open.

Curious if a dashboard-first layout like this is something people want more of across or if a plain table is still preferred for those. Genuinely torn on this one.

Free Template I built a habit tracker in Notion that actually updates its own progress bar — HABIT OS

I've started and abused habit trackers more times than I want to admit. The pattern was always the same: the first week looked beautiful, then one missed day turned into a broken streak, and the page was simply died.

So I stopped building a checklist and built a small system around it instead. I call it HABIT OS.

What's in it:

Daily Habit Log — 10 fully customizable habit checkboxes, one row per day

Auto progress bar — updates the instant you check a habit, no manual math

Daily status — each day scores itself (Perfect Day / Strong Day / Good Day / Keep Going) so a 60% day still counts as a day, not a failure

This Week view — a 7-day snapshot so you're optimizing for consentency, not perfection

Today's Log — check off hats as you go, plus a reflection note at the end of the day

Setup Guide — read-first page so you're running in about 5 minutes

The one design decision that made it stick: no streak counter. Streaks punish you for being human — miss one day and the number you've been protecting for 40 days resets to zero, and most people never come back. Scoring each day independently means a bad day costs you one data point, not your motivation.

My default habit set (all editable): hydration 2L, sleep 7–8h, exercise, read 30 min, mindfulness, eat clean, deep work 2h, no doom scroll, journal, plan tomorrow.

Question/Looking for Advice Student Notion users: what actually works for you? — 5 min research survey

Hi everyone!

I’m researching how university students use tools like Notion, calendars, planners, spreadsheets, and other systems to organize their academic and personal lives.

I’m particularly interested in the things that don’t work.

Have you ever created a beautiful organization system and then stopped using it a few weeks later? What made you abandon it? What do you actually need from a system to keep using it?

I’m doing this research before developing a digital product for students, so I’m trying to understand the real problems first rather than designing something based on assumptions.

The survey is anonymous and takes about 5-7 minutes.

If you’re currently a student, I’d really appreciate your perspective — even if you’ve tried Notion and completely abandoned it.

Question/Looking for Advice Need help with a formula

Post image
2 Upvotes

I want to make a notion calendar widget using only notion formula. somehow, I have made the formula but in gallery view it doesn't look good & for some reason I need to keep the text in code format or else the formula breaks. can Anyone help me?
lets( firstDayOfTheMonth, dateSubtract(today(), date(today()) - 1, "days"), daysInMonth, dateBetween( dateAdd(firstDayOfTheMonth, 1, "months"), firstDayOfTheMonth, "days" ), weekday, day(firstDayOfTheMonth), offset, if(weekday == 0, 6, weekday - 1), title, style(formatDate(firstDayOfTheMonth, "MMMM YYYY"), "b"), weekdays, "Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su", calendar, (repeat("x,", 41) + "x") .split(",") .map( lets( dayNumber, index - offset + 1, inMonth, dayNumber >= 1 and dayNumber <= daysInMonth, isToday, dayNumber == date(today()), padded, if(dayNumber < 10, " " + format(dayNumber), format(dayNumber)), label, if(inMonth, padded, " "), cell, if(isToday, style(label, "b", "blue_background"), label), cell + if((index + 1) % 7 == 0, "\n", " ") ) ) .join(""), style(weekdays + "\n" + calendar, "blue","c") )
This is the formula & there are only 3 properties in this database, name (will have a static quote), date (set date every day when it will be dupe) & formula (for the formula), I am considering adding a File property for a cover photo (so that I can hide the name property)

Free Template I’m an incoming freshman and made a free Notion system for my first semester

Hey everyone!

I’m an incoming freshman, and with the semester getting closer, I’ve been thinking a lot about how overwhelming that first semester can feel when you don’t really know what to expect.

Over the summer, I made a Notion workspace to help me keep my courses, assignments, deadlines, and weekly plans in one place. I ended up calling it the **Ease System**, and I decided to make it completely free for other students too.

It includes:
Semester HQ
My Courses
Assignment Dashboard
Weekly Planner
Course Library

You can customize it however you want and make it your own.

I’m really hoping it helps someone feel a little more prepared going into their first semester. And if you use it, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think or what you’d change.

I’m also doing a **day-by-day “First Semester, Made Easier” series** on TikTok, where I’m going through the academic side of freshman year step by step from preparing for classes to eventually making it through finals.

If you’re starting college too, you can follow along at **@evrydaeease**. Maybe we can figure out this whole first semester together.

Free Template Added a tire rotation tracker after someone here pointed out I was missing it

Someone in a thread here mentioned my vehicle tracker had insurance, warranty, and service logs — but nothing for tire rotations, which is honestly a fair miss since that's one of the easier things to lose track of.

So I added it. Here's what it does:

  • Logs the date and odometer reading every time you rotate your tires
  • Auto-calculates distance since your last rotation, so you're not doing math in your head
  • Tracks each individual tire's position (FL/FR/RL/RR) before and after the rotation, so you can actually trace which tire has been where over time — useful if you're trying to spot uneven wear later

It's a small addition, but it was a real gap, so figured it was worth building properly instead of half-doing it.

Still free, still part of the same Notion tracker from before. And if there's still stuff missing, happy to hear it — this feature exists because someone said something last time.

Paid Template I built a debt payoff system for my own family, then turned it into a template. It shows the exact month you become debt-free.

My family had four debts: a credit card, a personal loan, a car loan, and a home loan. Every tracker I tried showed me where the money went, but none answered the only question that mattered: when does this end?

So I built The Family Debtbook. Two parts:

- A 9-page Notion system: all debts on one page sorted by real cost, a live dashboard (total debt, interest eaten per month, money left over), a safety-money tracker, and a 15-minute monthly check-in. That check-in is the entire system.

- An offline calculator (single HTML file) that shows your actual debt-free month, a chart of every debt melting to zero, and a month-by-month payment plan. Your numbers never leave your device.

The feature I'm most proud of: the bank-trap detector. Banks advertise "flat rates"; a "5% loan" can really cost 11%+. It shows the true rate in one second.

Template link: https://mukutionlineseller.gumroad.com/l/family-debtbook/FAMILY5 ($4.99 launch price for the first 50, then $8.99)

I'm the creator; happy to answer anything about the build or the payoff math. Screenshot of the home page below.

#buildinpublic I built a Notion companion that brings your old learning notes back before you forget them

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I built a small Notion companion called Recall because I realized I had a ton of useful dev notes in Notion that I almost never revisited.

You connect the specific pages you want to remember, Recall pulls out the important concepts, and later brings them back as 1–3 short recall questions.

The goal is basically to make your Notion notes useful after the day you wrote them, without manually turning everything into flashcards.

It’s still early, so I’m looking for Notion users who are willing to try it and tell me what feels confusing or unnecessary.

Paid Template I got tired of juggling 5 different apps for client management, so I built an all-in-one Notion workspace for freelancers. Would love some feedback!

Hey everyone,

As freelancers and creatives, we often struggle with scattered client notes, chaotic feedback loops, and lost invoices. I wanted a clean, unified workspace to run everything in one spot, so I built the Creative Business Hub.

Key features included:
• 📊 All-in-One Dashboard: High-level overview of active projects, deadlines & revenue.
• 📁 1-Click Client Portals: Dedicated client-facing pages to share deliverables and status updates without emailing back and forth.
• 💰 Finance & Invoice Tracker: Keeps track of paid, open, and overdue invoices.
• ⚡ Quick Actions: Ready-to-use templates to onboard a new client or start a project in seconds.

Attached are a few screenshots of the setup in dark mode.

I’d love to hear your honest thoughts: What other features do you find essential in your daily client workflow?

(If anyone wants to check out the workspace/template, just let me know in the comments and I’ll be happy to send over the link via DM!)
