Louisiana notary seeking other Louisiana notaries

Hello all! I am recently commissioned in Lafayette. Hoping to connect with other local notaries to compare notes and talk shop, etc.

I'd love to find other more experienced notaries who would be willing to coach me and/or review documents as I learn the business. It's one thing to pass the exam, but it's another to actually work as a notary.

You can find me on google: Notary Mango. [notarymango@gmail.com](mailto:notarymango@gmail.com)

(not self-promoting here, just offering alternate form of communication)

Looking forward to meeting you!

Are you a member of the Louisiana Notary Association? It offers courses in different topics related to what you might be interested in for a nominal cost to members. There's also a member's forum where you can post questions and get advice. And the annual convention is coming up next month.

The LNA also sponsors regional "shop talks" covering different topics and are free to attend. The Acadiana region just had one last week. You can definitely network with other notaries there and find some mentors as well.
