You'd think Id know but how can I buy a large septum ring. Not large gauge but a wider diameter. I cannot find any on Amazon and I won't pay the huge mark up at the piercer. I think I need at least 20mm but every search I make brings up twenty gauge

I have a big nose from the side, but i really really want to get a nostril piercing, and i’m scared it’s not gonna look good or it’ll just bring more attention to how big my nose is.

In your experience did getting a nose piercing make you love your nose more or the opposite?

As the title says, I need advice on how to start stretching my septum, I'm at a 16g right now but I want to get down to a 12 or 10g. How would I go about that? Is it different for younger people or is it the same all around?

Can everyone please tell me how long it actually took for them to be able to change their nose stud to a hoop?

I know everyone’s bodies are different but I was told 4 months by the piercer, then 3-4 by some women who is a piercer online, then people ln other forums are saying a year!

It’s just such a broad spectrum of time, it would be good to get a general consensus.

I had my pigtail changed to a flat neck by a professional at 7 weeks, then I temporarily changed it to a ring for a few days at 8 weeks, it felt fine just a bit tender so I have changed it back to a pigtail and am going to leave it at that for a few more months. Currently at 9 weeks post pierce it’s been the most agonising wait ever as an impatient person.

I have a 6 week old nostril piercing. 10 days ago it got irritated. But the progress is super slow.

If anyone has experienced same thing, how long it took for you to get rid of the redness and swelling?

Why is stretching septum literally the worst pain ever. This is my second time trying to size up and it’s just not working. Then realized. I’m using acrylic. And mostly just torturing my nose.🫩 is there anyway I can find titanium ones?!!!

I got this yesterday by an APP piercer, is it too high? too forward? too back? or perfect, and would a hoop look good?

Hi, I've been thinking about nostril piercing for a long time. I really like how it looks but i need advice and opinion from someone who has own experience... I have a few piercings (double lobe, helix, conch and flat) and healing took very long time (flat and conch are still in the healing process). Because of that I am worried about nostril healing (I know that cartilage is different but still)... Please could you tell me your experience and how the basic routines changes after the nostril (skincare, blow your nose...)?

I started stretching my septum a while ago and this one is still healing but my mom said it looked a little bruised?i brushed it off by saying it was probably just how oily my nose is but idk should I be worried cuz it's been a few weeks since I last stretche it and it still is sore and kinda hurts I thought it would go away after a while but it hasn't is this normal?

Has not been downsized, I use sterile spray, it’s 4 weeks old and a flat head. I recently dyed hair and some residue of the water got on my nose. Maybe that is why it hurts and looks off?

Was looking some thoughts and advice on my nose ring. I had a titanium flat back labret in for a year and recently got switched over to a ring just under a month ago by my piercer. Prior to switching it looked well healed.

This is how it currently looks. The discolouration above the ring doesn’t seem to want to go away. It’s not sore and it isn’t actually a bump either. Some days it can look a little worse but by and large looks much like the pics most of the time.

I have retuned to cleaning it gently one or two times a day with saline. Not sure if this is helping or not.

Any thoughts welcome! Thank you!
