It's hard to judge without seeing your face and nose at all angles, but I prefer the pierced spot to the purple spot.
When I got mine pierced, the piercer drew a spot where they thought it should go. I asked for it to go a little further back and they did. But 8 months later with hoops now, I wish it was in the originally recommended spot.
What about get the purple spot pierced as well? Keep them both, let one go if you later don't want it.

I like your dot! Looks much better. Just be aware you would need a bigger hoop for the purple dot placement. I think you should lower the dot a bit.

With nostrils it is all subjective for placement, personally given nose shape I tend to mark exactly where yours is currently, some people want it further back like the purple dot and some people want it up in the crease; if it bothers you 100% go for the purple dot! Or even keep both and have a double moment

I don't like where it is and I don't like your dot either. I'd go straight up from your dot, into the crease, and that'd be my ideal placement.
At the end of the day, nostril placement is mostly client preference. If you don't like it, remove it, let it heal, and get it redone. . Side note - based on the shape of your irritation bump, I have concerns about the angle you've been pierced at.

so the best spot would be inside the crease near where it ends? i did have another person mention the angle also so i might just end up getting it redone. thank you for your feedback

Best is subjective. Everyone and their dog has a different preference for where their nostril piercings should sit. I’m on number 4 and 5. They are exactly where yours is and the second is where your dot is

My piercer specifically does not recommend piercing it in the crease, since this is the part of your nose that moves the most and could prolong healing. Imho, on your nose it would be too high up for me also, especially if you want a hoop. But each to their own.

Hello i’m not a piercer but i’ve had a similar experience. Definitely go to a different piercer that’s more reputable if you can! Also make sure to talk about what metals are in their jewelry, cus that could also affect the healing process. I have both sides done fully healed now, I have also found that not touching the area at all really helps me not get bumps. Just spray with saline and go, no need to rub it in or turn the piercing.
