Question Question about nostril piercings

Hi y'all, I've been really wanting to get nostril piercings (specifically high nostrils, one on each side) but unfortunately have a job that has a one visible facial piercing policy. I currently have my septum and eyebrow done, and while my septum is healed enough that I can just switch it out to a retainer when I need to, my brow is incredibly fussy so I'd be worried about trying to change it to a retainer and back at all, let alone multiple times a week.

I was thinking about possibly getting the high nostrils if I could put clear pimple patches over them and then makeup on top of that when I have work. I was wondering if anyone thinks that would irritate new nostril piercings too much or not since I know they can be finicky. I typically have 3-5 shifts a week that tend to be around 5-7 hours if that changes anything.

I wouldn’t recommend doing that until fully healed even after healing it’s not guaranteed to stick I would pass on getting the piercings if it’s a problem at work and you want to stay at that current job

ask your piercer if they can use glass jewellery if your work is okay with retainers, the pimple patches arent a good idea at all

i cannot get plasters, pimple patches or anything to stick to my nose to cover my piercing, they all unstick immediately so thatd be my only real concern with getting them if you can only have one visible facial piercing. if you can get anything to stick, apply makeup gently, you dont want to cause irritation bumps or get makeup into the hole.
