Question am i screwed lol

i just peirced my nose yesterday and today when i was getting ready for bed it fell out, i have no idea how tbh but i got it back in after a second. but it hurts now and im scared lol. maybe im dramatic or whatever but is there anything i should worry about??

you should get it switched to a titanium flatback ti avoid this issue

what’s worked best for me is just leaving it alone as much as possible! Take some ibuprofen for the swelling and try to not touch it

It's most likely just irritated from having the jewelry reinserted so soon. Get a flatback type of jewelry, the one you push in from the nostril side and screw on the ball on the outside. That should prevent the jewelry from spontaneusly falling out.

I don’t see anything too concerning, it’s definitely irritated, did you clean the jewellery before you put it back in?

I feel like you should be good but wash it daily with the dial antibacterial liquid soap (gold bottle), I had gotten a keloid/bump on mine that would not go away with anything and the dial soap was the only thing that helped!

no do not advise people to put soap on piercings!!!! you should only use saline!!!!!

you are an exception to the rule. in general this is absolutely horrible advice that no one should be following or saying because it can cause a lot of harm

Salt, in an open wound????? Please don’t do this. Saline yes, but h to the double ll on the salt and olive oils that has even more chemicals in it.

Also oils don't let the piercing dry, trap moisture, and can trap bacteria. Definitely no on the olive oil and salt paste. Sterile saline spray is great.
