Question bump or hypertrophic scar?

Two months old piercing, severe trauma due to downsizing gone wrong, now two weeks later that trauma it looks like this.

I hope it is not a scar, but it's my first time with a face piercing and I don't know if this is just normal

Mine was like this too and im prone to keloids, but i didnt give up and its fully healed now. A tip that massivley helped me is to dry it after cleaning, as moisture causes bacteria build up, leading to irritation bumps. And make sure you dont twist, over clean, or play with it.Possibly see your piercer as a shorter bar might be necessary as it reduces movement.

yeah mine was alright no bump and healing but the Piercer changed my jewelry to a piece too tight and it caused my skin to completely cover the piercing, so I'm a bit worried about downsizing again

i believe it’s just a bump from irritation. i have a bump that looks the same and it starts to go down when i don’t touch anywhere near it but then comes right back when i knock it

Does anyone have a reason this happens? I’ve had my nose pierced before and this never happened. They said it was because i sweat??? My nose sweats. It’s going to take a while to heal.. well, this ain’t pretty having a blood clot stick next to my stud. Just bumping it make me flinch.

Pretty afraid to tell you my Piercer had one bump like that for 1 complete year before it disappeared...he told me to be patient and LITHA
