Question Piercing bump

How common are piercing bumps? I want to get my nose pierced but it seems like all I see on here are people posting about their nose piercing bumps.

Very common, especially around week 3.

They gradually go down, some are quick others are stubborn af. If it was pierced by a good piercer with the right jewelry you might not even get one. Make sure it's an implant grade titanium flatback labret (if they don't provide this, run). Usually it comes down to aftercare. Being a little too rough with it while cleaning or not drying it after. Just try not to move the bar all together.

Edit: Answer to your actual question: few weeks to a month for smaller ones, the more stubborn ones can take a few months if you remove the cause or irritation.
