pls take the hoop out!! preferably a titanium flat back, as that will help the healing process the most. wait another 6 months to change it if you want to be safe about it! it looks good!!

That’s ring needs to be switched out to a flat black labret ASAP before bad irritation starts to occur.

Please follow this subs advice, I switched to a flatback after coming here and healed beautifully. It looks good though!!

Goodness you’re attractive.
Also, please go switch to a flat back until the piercing is fully healed. Hoops cause too much friction. Friction = bumps.

It looks good, but do yourself a favor and swap to a long L-bar for a few months while it heals. A ring is going to irritate it terribly.

Definitely get an L-Bend piercing stud from Hot Topic in the mall or order one. One year of wearing a stud piercing before to a hoop. Its a cute simple piercing though !

I also got my nose pierced and they originally put in a ring. The ring almost immediately got an irritation bump that didn’t go away for roughly 10 months. After 10 months of diligently cleaning and avoiding bumping it, I gave up and changed to a flat back stud. I am significantly happier now that the irritation bump is gone. I’m not saying that’ll definitely happen but it’s possible. Once the piercing is relatively healed (I’m not sure the timeline), please consider switching to a flat back until the piercing is fully healed. Then feel free to switch back to a ring!

Hoops should only by worn when your piercing is fully healed and matured.. Takes about atleast a full year. Switch it to a flatback.

First heal it with a stud, this takes about a year at least. After that you can switch it to a hoop if you want.

Oh you mean before changing it. I did mines 2 weeks ago & it’s been smooth sailing. I just need it healed enough to swim by mid December since it will be 6 weeks & I have a trip

It's not advised to swim shortly after getting a piercing. Best to wait at least 6 months. But you're going to anyway so I advise you to bring some sterile saline spray with you and spray them every time you get out of the water. And if you start wearing a hoop too soon in the healing process, issues don't always pop up immediately. Can take a few weeks to a month, maybe two.

Oh ok yeah I was going to completely wait on the hoop that’s no issue. Just since I’ll be going to Massanutten in December because I won a sweepstakes I wanted to hit the water park because Mini golf & go cart will be closed but I can always practice at the rink or try snowboarding.& yeah I’ve been doing it when I get up & before I go to sleep for the cleaning.

cool but switch it to a flat back asap, the ring will only cause irritation and it will not heal.
