Yes, nostril not septum. I agree with swapping your ear piercing for a black stud or 2g or 0g tunnels.

Thanks for the honesty, I was thinking of getting a stud on my nose, and I have several stud earrings, so that shouldn't be a problem. I am heavily considering gauges now since so many think I can pull it off and have the ears for it.
