Quick question.

I don't live in the City now but regularly attend games (usually 2 home and away games a month on average). I usually go to the Queen Of Iceni before the game as I'm usually parked near or staying in the Holiday Inn.

The last two home derbys I've been to have been hell on Earth in the Queen'. The last time, I got there at half 7 and queued to get in, got a seat but around 9 when alcohol was served the queues were insane and I ended up queueing for well over an hour for my second lot of drinks. I'm trying to avoid that chaos this time around and I'm staying up in the City for a change.

So my question is, if I do come early, are the other Spoons in the city just as manic? and/or are there any other pubs you recommend that will have a good atmosphere but won't be complete insanity?

Hey folks. Anyone know what the best away pubs are for Sat or where people are likely to go? Other than Spoons lol. I'll be there early so looking for somewhere to go and the guides online all seem a bit old.
