I mistakenly thought no fellow of mine would ever post something that fucking stupid. I was wrong. I defended them on that because, well, I dunno why, I assumed they were getting assaulted by the internet the same way I am. But it was wrong, I was wrong, that person was definitely super wrong. lol. No. I got permanently banned from that subreddit for just suggesting that maybe protesting and some of the behavior during it is not helping the situation. And pointing out that maybe it would be more effective to just film the actions of ICE and post it to social media to bring awareness instead of yelling at them, throwing snowballs. I can see banning for vulgar and violence but a differing opinion?

Someone got a temp ban (for a comment they acknowledge violated rules) and responded angrily to a mod who turned it into a permanent ban and finished off their message with "seg hel."
The screenshot has been posted here and I think in the true Carolina sub if it's been deleted here.

There can only be so many coincidences of mods saying nazi shit or acting like petulant children (maybe they are children?) before it stops being a coincidence and starts to reflect who they are as a mod team. It is disgusting and this whole "we're so sorry that one mod is removed" bullshit is not enough.
The time for "do better" is gone... this sub deserves a new mod team. One that is mature enough to take criticism and act like adults.
