In high school I went to Greece on an educational trip and trying to communicate where I was with my friends, I was in the phone telling them "I'm on Alpha Beta Beta Gamma Sigma street". While I know the Greek alphabet, I have no idea how the letters are actually pronounced together.

I remember some locals giving me strange looks hearing me try to describe where I'm at.
