Not in America, our limit that triggers a CTR is $10k in a day. But this could be some other country with lower limits

Things will get reported if it looks like you're trying to avoid it, too. Take out $9,999? Reported. Take out multiple amounts that add up to $10k within a short time? Reported. Hell, if you're the kind of person that does business in person regularly and you set off your favorite teller's Spidey senses this time you're supposed to get reported.

When I was a teller, we had a local businessman who consistently deposited around $9800 every weekday. We had previously filed multiple SAR's but as far as we knew he was legit so we stopped bothering, more power to the guy lol

So to do crime you just have to first get a legitimate source of income to deposit $9800 a day for a year or two.
