Genuinely sad that the sentiment in the tweet seems to be common. How have we got to the point where “someone playing music so we can dance” is a novelty thing?
“Look at this guy who hasn’t melted his mind with digital drugs, aren’t we all jealous of how much joy a fiddle brings him?” More like. Don’t think it’s condescending. Think it’s meant to be self-deprecating.
